*grovels in fervent apology to those who were looking forward to seeing Spock cosplay* ^^;

So here's the scoop... After peeking at your guys' votes (after many unsuccessful attempts at logging in to actually tally those votes) and finding Spock to be in the lead, I made the mistake of telling the Fang (oh so aptly named, in light of her vicious mouth), who promptly vetoed it. In short, if I dress "dorkily" enough, for which Spock qualifies, she'll never let me hear the end of it. :headsmack:

Her alternate idea, sprung on me a bit too late for my liking, was a group Monty Python & the Holy Grail bit, which I suggested two years ago (:paranoid: *grumble*) and she - oh, surprise - vetoed.
Not to mention I let slip my other hopeful costume, Dock Ock, and was tongue-lashed yet again for my sister-embarrassing nerdiness. Needless to say, I've been feeling pretty Emo this week.

IF I dress up this year (aka, if I'm not working Halloween night), it'll probably be my standby of some 6 years now, Captain Frigging Jack Sparrow. :bleh: I really don't think I'll have time to put anything else together.


*bangs head on table repeatedly in anticipatory mourning of Halloween*

I say tongue-lash back and too bad if she gets embarassed, I might be over-stepping my bounds by saying that it sounds like she needs to lighten up a bit, but oh well.

Hopefully you're not working, for Halloween candy is indeed the best there is at what it does, and what it does...isn't very nice in the long-run, but is soooo satisfying!!

Your sister should understand that it is not HER cosplaying as Spock or Dock Ock or whoever, it is YOU. She can be as embarrassed as she wants, but she should remember that she's only embarrassed on her account and it has nothing to do with you.

Tell your sister that it's your costume choice, not hers. And then tell her to put it in her juicebox and suck it. XD Bummer that she's making you be Captain Jack again-but hope you don't have to work on Halloween! That would suck so bad...

So just be Spock, and who cares what anyone else thinks, (besides me because I will tie you up and NOT give you beef jerky!!)
