Here ye can see one reason my old nickname used to be "Hobbit" - I'm 3 years older than the Elf, and still shorter.
Since my hair is so thick, I was able to cut a bunch from underneath the lower layers for my 'Hobbit feet' socks, and nobody noticed! But there was still enough hair-bushing that you couldn't see the huge-ass pointy ears unless I turned my head to the side.



~ Backstory Time! ~
This is the second pic from a series of three (this is the only one I've posted).
In the first one, we're both fairly serious; ~CardinalFang gives an expressionless Elven look, while I stand with my loot bag in one hand and an apple in the other.

In the one you see here, I got impatient, (as Hobbits tend to do when there's food waiting to be coaxed from neighbours' front doors,) and popped one of my three apples - the others were in my pocketses - into my mouth. I actually bugged my eyes and stared at cardinalfang like this intently the moment before this was taken. But, she took no notice, as she was too busy trying to appear aloof and immortal for the camera.

Final pic was taken immediately after the Elf finally stopped primping and saw what I did. My face is scrunched in laughter, and I've spit the apple into my hand. Cardinalfang has burst into giggles, one arm still over my shoulder, and the opposite hand brought up to catch the giggles.


Oh yeah... and stupid me walked through the puddle-filled sidewalks in those socks. 'Twas cold and wet, and I don't recommend it.
